Ride History:
The Musical Chairs also called “The Swings” were built by Childress Rides in 1984. Designs for this ride have since been sold to Hi-Lite rides. This particular ride was previously owned by Davidson Amusements. It was purchased by Lewellen Amusements in 2000. It is one of the seven original rides on our show. The swings were overhauled at the Lewellen shop in 2001. It has been electrically rewired and has been given a new paint job. The trailer has been upgraded with a new hitch and new axles. The ride was repainted with a new color scheme in 2009.
