Ride History:
The Sizzler was built in 1976 by Wisdom Industries. It was purchased by Lewellen Enterprises in 1995. The ride had to be completely overhauled. Over the winters of 1995 and 1996 the ride was completely sandblasted and then painted. All of the seats were removed and repaired then painted. The Sizzler was the first ride to be owned by Lewellen family that would lead to the start of their own carnival. It was one of the original seven rides on Lewellen Amusements in 2000. In 2001 the ride was taken back to the Wisdom factory to have its main center bearings replaced. The ride received a new sign in 2003. The Sizzler is one of the most popular rides on the Lewellen show.
