SCHEDULING INFORMATION
Lewellen Amusements has the ability to split to form two units. For that reason it is important to think about how big or small your event is. You should remember this when scheduling your event as not all events require the full compliment of rides and games. Most Fairs are scheduled for July and August. These are the hardest dates to try and place your event. Most shows have their Fair months scheduled years in advance. When you can hold your event in another month it will be beneficial to both parties. For example a fair in June may be the first in your area. Festivals are generally held in the spring and fall. April and October are the easiest months to place your event.
Once you decide the date for your event you can then begin to think about other issues. The most important would be space available. For each major ride a sixty foot circle in diameter is needed. The kid rides use thirty foot circles. If the show plays on the street then we need three blocks and two intersections on a four lane road. A split show unit would of course use considerably less space. Some events like a company picnic may only need four rides while a small festival may need eight rides. It is important to consider event size and space before scheduling your event.
After your size and space planning the next most important thing is power and water for the show houses. Although we supply power for our show rides and games, we request a location preferably near to the set-up location with city power and water for our living trailers.
All issues will be discussed by phone or in person and are generally easy to agree upon.
If you are ready to schedule your event call us.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope that we can help start or improve your already existing event.
