Ride History:
King Company was one of the original ride manufacturers. These rides were built in the 1950’s. The King rides come in many themes. These particular rides are trains and fire engines on one, and animal chariots on the other. The rides were bought by Lewellen Amusements in 2000. The King rides are two of the original seven rides on the Lewellen Amusements carnival. They are both ground mounted rides which load into the back of a twenty eight foot box trailer. After their purchase the ride centers and the tracks were painted. The animals on the chariot ride were repainted in 2006 and the platforms for both rides were repainted in 2007. The rides got new power cords and center tarps in 2007
